The Exchange Families International Scholar Award is given to select students who have a curiosity to experience the world firsthand. We are looking for the explorers of tomorrow who are ready to learn a foreign language and share an adventure!

 

Exchange Families International is currently accepting applications for full and partial scholarships to be used toward the exchange fees. Scholarships do not include any of the following: hosting, flights, travel insurance, visas, or school expenses.

Applicants are selected by the Exchange Families International award committee based on the following criteria:

• Complete the Scholar Award application;

• Between the ages of 8-17 at the time of exchange;

• Completed family application process;

• Proven academic ability for relevant age;

• Not a previously recipient of Exchange Families International Scholar Award;

• Demonstrated passion for international travel, foreign languages, or a curiosity to explore a new culture;

• Ability to represent Exchange Families International as a Youth Ambassador.

The Exchange Families International Scholar award committee will review all applications and reserves the right to ask for further information to determine eligibility and exchange placement. Students will be notified of their status within 90 days of completing their exchange application and family interview.
